I absolutely love my Gotham Steel 12-piece cookware set! It’s hands down the best non-stick set I’ve ever used, even better than some fancy ones that cost way more.
First of all, the design is fantastic. All the pots and pans stack neatly inside each other without scratching the non-stick surface, which is a huge space saver in my cabinets. The lids are flat too, so they take up less room in the dishwasher. But the clever part is that they have a special design that lets steam circulate or escape during cooking, and they even fit perfectly when flipped over so you can stack pots and pans on top of them.
The non-stick coating itself seems really tough and durable, unlike some others I’ve seen advertised that barely last a minute. The instructions say the set is dishwasher safe, but they also mention it might last longer if you hand-wash. Honestly, I wasn’t crazy about that since I wanted a low-maintenance set. So, I took a chance and stuck them in the dishwasher (using the sanitize cycle) pretty much every day since I got them, and guess what? They still look and work perfectly! They’ve definitely outlasted some of my more expensive hand-washed pots and pans. Plus, you barely need any oil when cooking with these – another win!
The only tiny thing I’d change is the rivets inside the pans. They discolored a bit after the first time I used them. But that’s a minor detail. Overall, I’m super happy with this cookware set. It’s so good, it actually makes me want to write a review, which I hardly ever do! Read more…
